Lawlessness is the key problem of our country nowadays. In this situation, ensuring that the code of LAW is followed is the prime need of our country. But sadly, the people who are responsible for ensuring the application of LAW are not fully skilled.
Non-professionals become advocates and our law system is deteriorating. Under these crucial conditions, Pakistan Bar Council came up with a remedy. GAT LAW TEST is a test designed to determine whether a graduate deserves to become an advocate or not.

Eligibility Criteria to appear in GAT LAW:
- Only law graduates can apply.
- Only graduates who have qualified in the final year examination of LL.B. from a university recognized by Pakistan Bar Council, are eligible.
- Students awaiting final year result are not eligible.
Other conditions: mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the test centers assigned by NTS, attaining 50% marks in the test is compulsory to qualify, candidates have to deposit rupees 3000 through deposit slips prescribed by ABL, UBL, HBL, MCB, registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The last date of application form submission is 31st December 2014 (Wednesday) and the test will be conducted on 18th January 2015 (Sunday).
