National University of Science and Technology NUST is inviting for Masters (MS) Programs in Engineering (IT), Natural Sciences, Applied Biosciences, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences Disciplines. According to the admission rule and regulation policy, Eligibility criteria are different. Eligibility Criteria for each are given below in detail.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A’ Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks (percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript).
  • GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2020 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test scores or GRE (General) conducted by ETS.
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree must be accredited by PEC/HEC (as applicable) in relevant disciplines.
  • For Natural Sciences Departments General Eligibility Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A’ Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks (percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript).
  • GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2020 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test scores.
  • For Applied Bio-sciences​s departments, General Eligibility criteria are Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A’ Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks (percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript).
  • GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2020 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test scores or GRE (General) conducted by ETS, the USA with a minimum acceptable score.
  • Business and Social Sciences Departments​ General Eligibility criteria are Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A’ Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks except for MBA and MS Career Counseling & Education for which minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 OR 60% marks are required. The percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned in the transcript.
  • GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 August 2020 by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test scores. OR GMAT conducted by GMAC, the USA with a minimum 50 percentile score.

 Submission of GAT (General) / GRE / GMAT/ MCAT / Final results:

  • The scores of GRE (General) / GMAT, should reach NUST by June 22, 2020. It may be noted that NUST will only accept the scores of GRE (General) / GMAT examinations conducted on or after August 01, 2019.
  • NUST will accept the scores of GAT (General) conducted by NTS on or after August 01, 2020, and score of NAT II conducted by NTS on or after August 01, 2020.
