Government of Punjab has initiated a new project. Punjab Skill Development Fund (PSDF) is Rs. 7.2 Billion initiative of Government of the Punjab for funding skills training in 14 districts of the Punjab. These districts include Lahore, Faislabad, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Sargodah, Narowal, Chiniot, Shaikhupura etc. This training will be free of cost for the youth of Punjab.
Punjab Skill Development’s scheme of Skills For Job has initiated 45 institutes and is offering 117 short courses for developing various skills. If your age is above 15 years and you live in one of the above mentioned districts, then you are eligible to apply for the short courses.
Locations of training centres and other details are available on the official website of PDSF. A list of details has also been released by the Govt. of Punjab. The list contains the name and location of the institutes, names and details of short courses, name of the person you have to contact for registration and help etc and his contact details.
